Unveiling the Ultra-Contemporary Silverton 45

Inspired by the post-COVID era, our latest double-storey display home in the Kinley Estate, Lilydale celebrates a new way of living.

Reimagine family living with Ultra-Contemporary design

From its inception, the 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom Silverton 45 (previously the Hamilton 45) was designed with dynamic, modern families in mind.

At first glance, it’s unapologetically sleek and contemporary interiors immediately capture your attention, but explore a bit further, and you’ll find that flexible and conscious design is at the heart of the home.

This is evident in the expansive open plan kitchen, dining and living area, which is perfectly equipped for entertaining, whether that be large-scale celebrations or hosting the most intimate of dinner parties among your closest family and friends.

Its versatility lets you embrace the seasons as well. Families can go from screening the latest blockbuster in the cosy home theatre when the winter chill sets in, to firing up the BBQ on the alfresco come summertime.

But in the post-COVID era, the true hero of the home is the flexibility afforded by the handful of working and studying from home spaces, says our National Design Manager, Dave Clynk.

“The Silverton 45 embodies a post-COVID concept, where the working from home environment needed to be flexible. The ground floor study nook, rumpus study retreat and home office to the master bedroom enable multiple work from home zones at the same time, without interruption. This allows the homeowner to change up their working from home environment based on mood, time of day and sunlight orientation, he says.”

As we increasingly work and study from home, maintaining the work-life balance remains as important as ever. Which is why in Silverton 45, each of the three study areas are expertly nestled away from central family, leisure and chill-out areas. Kids playing video games in the rumpus won’t disturb adults in their master office, and vice-versa.

Aside from flexible design, there’s a lot more to love about our Silverton 45. Visit the Kinley Estate in leafy Lilydale to see it on display and look out for our top features while you’re there.

Our favourite features:

1. Firstly, it’s hard to go past the new Emerald facade. Striking and modern, while still in keeping with the surrounding streets, it gives visitors a great first, and lasting, impression. The COLORBOND steel roof and cladding in Shale Grey provide a sense of warmth and balance too.

2. As you come through the front door, you’ll notice the wide and welcoming entryway which sets the tone for the rest of the home. Surround by Laminex panelling in Batten 25 starts here, and is carried through the study nook, tying the two spaces together.

3. The central staircase is another key feature to look out for. Connecting the two levels while retaining a sense of openness, the design of the landing gives you the airy feeling that comes with a void, but without the costs associated with one.

4. Last but not least, the magnificent kitchen island benchtop. This isn’t just any ordinary island. Caesarstone with waterfall ends in Rugged Concrete keep up the luxe industrial feel, but really its the sheer size that steals the show. From the morning rush out the door, to late nights spent perched with a glass of wine, it enhances your day-to-day living and entertaining experiences all at once.
